Flared Fashion, Just Go For It
Thank you for checking out this Spring forward post. For this look, I wanted to do something fun with this flared outfit. This Rebecca Minkoff Frenchie top at Nordstrom is so pretty, and great for year round wear. Flared sleeves were a big trend and seen throughout a lot of stores this past year.
Some times a fun flared piece is great for standing on its own.Although a top like this can really be a great stand alone piece, I wanted to pair it with another stand out item. The suede-like bottoms are so flattering on. The slight flare bottom, compliments the blouse perfectly.
I personally love flared jeans with a simple button down or a fitted top. Letting the bottom do all the talking! However, this look takes on a whole other dimension with a bell sleeve blouse! Luckily this look works because the pants are fitted through the thigh, making it look proportionate. If I had paired this top with a wide leg flare, I could potentially look 20 pounds heavier. Proportion is key to any outfit ladies!
What do you all think of this look? Hopefully this has broadened your scope and given you some new styling ideas!
Be a little fearless with fashion! It’s meant to be fun. Take some risks and give this look a try!
